We are from National Book Trust, India, whch is the national body for book publishing and book promotion in India. We have published nearly 17000 titles during the last six decades in English and all major Indian languages. The NUS Press Story NUS Press publishes academic books and journals, as well as general non-fiction. Our home market is Singapore and Southeast Asia, but our books are distributed internationally. We publish books of special relevance to Southeast Asia and we maintain a disciplinary focus on the humanities and social sciences. The University of Singapore merged with Nanyang University in 1980 to become the National University of Singapore, and in 2006 Singapore University Press was succeeded by NUS Press, bringing the name of the press in line with the name of the university. Our publishing mission is to enable the dissemination and creation of knowledge through the publishing of scholarly and academic books; and to empower learning, innovation and enterprise for the Singapore- and Asia-focused global community. Strange Days Books is a social cooperative publishing firm based in Crete, Greece. Since 2012 we have published almost 100 books. Every year we organize Sand Festival, an online Writers’ Workshop and - in cooperation with www.eyelands.gr literary magazine - the one and only international short story competition based in Greece, plus our International Book Awards. In 2019 SDB was the only publishing house in Greece to receive approval by the European Union’s Creative Europe translation funding program for its project "Strange Days in Europe”. We are dedicated to fiction and non-fiction in Spanish and translated, mainly contemporary. Our catalog combines the work of established authors with that of new voices. We are interested in books that, regardless of when they were written, have something to say to today's reader. Several of our titles already have more than one edition. We have regular distribution in Argentina, Chile, Uruguay and Peru. In 2021 we will start publishing and distributing in Spain and we will strengthen sales to the rest of the Latin American countries.
