Er hätte es gerne behalten, aber dann sah er, dass »alle reichen Russen, Chinesen und Afrikaner unbedingt auch Richard Prince haben wollten«, also verkaufte er das Bild vier Jahre später für das Hundertfache. Ja, man kann sehr viel Geld auf dem Kunstmarkt ausgeben und erlösen, man muss aber nicht, sagt Kagge. Wer neugierig bleibt, seinem Urteil traut, eine gute Portion Geschmack mitbringt, sich Trends widersetzt und ein bisschen Glück hat, kann auch als Einsteiger zum erfolgreichen Sammler werden.
