Everything's Fine is a small independent press based in Manila that seeks to build a community around practices that will make publishing and bookmaking kinder and more sustainable for local authors. By treating our authors as partners, and operating with transparency throughout the bookmaking process, we hope to create the best conditions for continued creativity and productivity. Founded in 2019, we aim to publish well-made books with ambitious and thought-provoking content. As such, we choose our publications and book projects thoughtfully, keeping in mind not just what the reader seeks, but how publications can perhaps contribute to making a better world possible.

Changing gender roles and attitudes to family formation in Ireland

Recent decades have witnessed major changes in gender roles and family patterns, as well as a falling birth rate in Ireland and the rest of Europe. While the traditional family is now being replaced in many cases by new family forms, we do not know the reasons why people are making the choices they are and whether or not these choices are leading to greater well-being. While demographic research has attempted to explain the new trends in family formation and fertility, there has been little research on people's attitudes to family formation and having children. This book presents the results of the first major study to examine people's attitudes to family formation and childbearing in Ireland. Based on a nationwide representative sample of 1,404 men and women in the childbearing age group, the study was carried out against a backdrop of changing gender role attitudes and behaviour as well as significant demographic change.

Fine Arts in the Era of Mao Zedong

The book put forward the concept of 'Fine Arts in the Era of Mao Zedong' academically for the first time. Starting from the publication of Mao Zedong's Talks at the Yan'an Forum on Literature and Art in 1942 and ending with the passing away of Mao Zedong, the book surveys this period by collecting more than 1,000 pictures and other data, which are arranged under eight themes. The book restores this period of the history of Chinese fine arts to the original form and gives prominence to the time features embodied in this phenomenon of fine arts. The introduction in the book expounds fine arts in the era of Mao Zedong in a macroscopic manner, discussing historical background, thoughts of literature and art, social environment and theme typology concisely and tersely so as to provide readers with theoretical perspective and approaches in understanding and perceiving this phenomenon of fine arts.
