View Rights PortalHelp young children build their first 100 words through structured, playful, and sound-based learning. First 100 Words | A Guide to Developing Speech and Language by Alice Kassotaki, MSc, BSc, is an expertly designed resource that supports the earliest stages of speech and language acquisition. Featuring a core vocabulary of 100 essential words grouped into 14 meaningful categories, this book provides a structured framework for helping children recognize, store, and reproduce speech sounds while gradually moving toward expressive language use. The first part of the book emphasizes sound awareness—guiding children to become familiar with phonetic elements, store them in memory, distinguish between them, and begin producing them. The second part moves into phrase-level language activities, encouraging progression through listening, imitation, supported production, and finally, spontaneous speech. At this developmental stage, the goal is not articulation perfection, but consistent use and understanding of words within context. Designed for early interventionists, speech-language therapists, and educators, this guide is a powerful tool for building a strong linguistic foundation in toddlers and preschoolers. Its clear structure and engaging approach make it an excellent candidate for international publishers seeking evidence-based, practical resources for early childhood language development.

Support written language production through structured, leveled practice and visual scaffolding. Written Language Production – Sentence Structure by Alice Kassotaki, MSc, BSc, is the first book in the comprehensive Written Language Production series, designed to strengthen the foundation of written expression in children aged 7 and up. With a concise theoretical introduction and 206 carefully structured worksheets, this resource guides learners through six progressive stages of sentence construction—starting with basic sentence formation and moving toward independent writing without visual prompts. The book begins by introducing the distinction between oral and written language, emphasizing the unique challenges of written expression, which lacks the paralinguistic cues present in speech. It then systematically supports students as they develop sentence structure skills: from forming simple sentences, to using compound elements, to generating sentences based on visual stimuli, and finally composing sentences independently. Ideal for educators, speech-language pathologists, and special education professionals, this resource offers a practical, evidence-based pathway to improving written language skills. With its clear progression and user-friendly format, Written Language Production – Sentence Structure is a valuable tool for international publishers looking to expand their portfolio of structured writing interventions.

The nexus of human mobility and communication is intricate, and this volume uncovers the deep-rooted significance of tourism and media . From antiquity to modern day, Western communication systems have artfully crafted the allure of destinations, making places irresistible to the travellers.
