Spanish literary fiction. House founded in 2015 in Valparaíso (Chile). We want to provide a haven for readers in times of storm. Now that the arrival of new titles is overwhelming, at Kindberg we are committed to a detailed rhythm, to slow-publishing instead of disposable titles. The books we choose are the ones we like and that is why we believe in them and we want other readers to like them. And yes, we only publish fiction, because "poetry, beauty, art, love are the things that keep us alive".

        The world has many colours

        by Leo Hoffmann, Elena Buono

For a long time there has only been one color in the kindergarden down the street : yellow. The kids were convinced yellow is the best color until one day a new kid brings a new color. At first most of the kids are scared and keep their distance from the new kid. But one of the kids is curious and something wonderful happens… A colorful story about tolerance and openness towards the unknown, explained in various daily scenes from children's lives. Questions about : „how should I behave towards new children?“ or „how can i make friends with anyone?“ are easily grasped by showing differences with color. Otherness, immigration and refugees can be strange and confusing for children when first meeting other children in kindergarden, this book seeks to creatively show that differences don't have to be scary when you’re open-minded.
