The regulations of the German Building Energy Act (GEG), which have been in force since 2021 make the topic of "energy consulting of buildings" a top priority for all those who are concerned with appropriate measures for new and existing buildings.This book serves as a decision-making aid for choosing the appropriate energy modernization and new construction measures for residential and non-residetial buildings.In particular, it addresses the following topics: Building-related dimensions of sustainability, building life cycles Fundamentals of heat transfer as a central phenomenon of energy efficiency.
