Potters in their Element showcases approximately 60 studio potters at work. This very personal collection of portraits are of potters doing what they do, making pots, decorating, firing, working at fairs and some pictures of them in their showrooms with their beautiful work. The evocative photographs are accompanied by anecdotal text. Although a personal collection of British Studio potters, the featured potters include those of international stature such as Lucie Rie and Michael Cardew.
