Old Masters Rock aims to make great art an integral part of children's lives.  Art is never boring, always fun and interesting but parents often lack confidence about how to look at art with children, Old Masters Rock demystifies art and demonstrates that it is accessible to all of us – adults and children alike. Wading through acres of "similar looking" pictures in the great museums can be exhausting. 
In Old Masters Rock parents will find some useful tools for children to enjoy art as a family.  The images will span western art from the early Renaissance to early 20th century and will be grouped thematically to pique interest and draw the reader in. The text uses features such as ‘Art Detectives’ to encourage children to solve clues, 'Fun Facts' to help them remember th epictures and questions to spark curiosity. Thus the child focuses on looking at the pictures and drawing their own conclusions rather than simpling ingesting someone else's opinioin.
