A detective with panic attacks? That describes Elizabeth Clary (or just E to her friends) perfectly. Author Biography
Lyla Fox has three loves: her family, teaching, and writing. She grew up in a small town in Michigan where kids really did play Kick the Can and Hide and Go Seek. They also read Nancy Drew. She credits Nancy for instilling in her a respect for independent women and a love of “sleuthing.” Like her character E Clary in Murder on Cinnamon Street, Fox is drawn to a good mystery and can’t keep herself from investigating. Her son’s work in criminal defense, and her daughter’s advertising world, provide Fox with fodder for her writing mill. She and her husband Bill divide their time between homes in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and Phoenix, Arizona. She is also the author of Snoop: A Small Town Gossip Mystery.
