Author Biography
was born in Kettering, Northamptonshire and spent the majority of my working life in the county as a police officer.
Having served my full thirty years, when I retired from the force, I set up my training & development company that capitalised on my knowledge of roads policing and in particular drug and alcohol awareness training as it relates to road safety.
My expert knowledge in drug impaired driving helped me to get into writing, so from a non-fiction point of view I have seen my work published in various specialist magazines and books. I have sold thousands of copies of an Aide Memoir to police officers and other law enforcement agency’s.
But of course writing non-fiction is a far cry from fiction and the publication of my debut crime novel Blind Murder will be my first foray into this genre. I have always had a desire to write a crime fiction novel. I have no idea where this desire has come from (see my blog, ‘Blimey, I’m an author.)
I think I certainly have the background and the experience for it.
This recent opportunity with my novel has started something that I really don’t want to give up. I certainly want to do more. And more I shall do…
I have now started on the sequel to Blind Murder – ‘Driving Dead’ which I hope will be published towards the end of 2015, but may be early 2016 we’ll have to see how I get on with it.
