Our fiction program covers best‐selling series and stand-alone stories for first readers all the way through to young adults.  Some of our series such as Billie B Brown have sold over 7 million copies around the world. Our most recent blockbuster series is Real Pigeons, which is published in 22 languages and is now being developed into a film and TV animation by Nickelodeon.

We also have a picture book imprint called Little Hare, which specialises in beautiful, high-end picture books by acclaimed creators such as Freya Blackwood, Andrew Joyner, Davina Bell and Jedda Robaard. Their books have been recognised by some of the world’s most prestigious awards including the Kate Greenaway Medal and our own Children’s Book Council of Australia awards.

And we also have a growing list of non-fiction titles for children of all ages, which have delivered immediate international success. From Philip Bunting’s amazing non-fiction picture books which make learning visual, simple and fun to the awesome Explore Your World nature facts books from world renowned scientist Tim Flannery, to the ground-breaking Welcome To series from teen health experts Dr Melissa Kang and Yumi Stynes.

We have recently launched a brand new imprint called Bright Light. So called because it is dedicated to creating books that shine a light on a range of tricky conversations, to help families talk about things like gender expression and modern masculinity, diversity and disability, body positivity, indigenous issues, and books that help to foster resilience and build character.
