Overview
The Gabriele Capelli Editore (GCE) is a small Swiss publishing house based in the Canton of Ticino, primarily focused on fiction but occasionally expanding into essays and poetry. The production stands at approximately 6/7 books per year, evaluated against a hundred manuscripts. The choice to embrace a selected number of titles is dictated by the size of the editorial staff, which does not allow for a larger publishing output. The advantage lies in providing specific attention to each title, calibrated for the long term. Despite its small size, GCE boasts excellent results in terms of text quality; numerous awards have been won by authors, including debutants, both in Switzerland and abroad. This achievement is the result of meticulous selection work.
