A LITTLE BIT OF OUR HISTORY We are the oldest literary agency based in Italy and operating worldwide. We are also one of the most dynamic and successful. The agency was founded in 1962 by Harald Kahnemann and Karin von Prellwitz with the purpose of promoting quality fiction and non-fiction worldwide and quickly established as one of the leading international rights mediators. Since 1964 the head office of the Agency has moved from Montevideo, Uruguay, to Rome, Italy, but it still keeps a close working relationship with the most authoritative Latin American publishers. 2014 has seen the opening of the German branch of the Agency, based in Munich. In its over 50 year activity Eulama has made a name for itself thanks to its reliability, its ability in dealing with international publishers, establishing and maintaining excellent working relationships with its partners. OUR PRESENT For a company, 50 years of activity is like competing on a long distance run: you need endurance. And you need to know how to manage your strength. There will be times when you have to slow down your pace and muster your concentration - preparing to display it at its fullest. For then comes the time to push.
