TAMER Institute for Community Education is an educational non-governmental non for profit organization established in 1989 as a natural and necessary response to the urgent needs of the Palestinian community during the first intifada (uprising). The most important of these is the need to acquire means to help people learn and become productive. Focusing principally on the rights to education, identity, freedom of expression, and access to information,Tamer works across the West Bank and Gaza Strip, primarily targeting children and young adults to encourage and deepen opportunities of learning among them. Our program aims to contribute to enhancing reading, writing and all forms of Expression among children and young adults. It also aims at contributing to a Palestinian environment that is supportive to learning processes, and at supporting the literary and scholar production on child culture in Palestine.

Holland Park Press is a privately-owned independent company publishing and selling literary fiction: novels, novellas, short stories; and poetry. It was founded in 2009. It is run by brother and sister, Arnold and Bernadette Jansen op de Haar, who publish an author not just a book. Holland Park Press specialises in finding new literary talent by accepting unsolicited manuscripts from authors all year round and by running competitions. Founded in 1985, China Peace Publishing House is a state-owned publishing house belonging to China Soong Ching Ling Foundation, publishing books about Soong Ching Ling, and various of children’s books, mainly for small children. In 2008, with the formal approval of the General Press & Publication Administration, China Soong Ching Ling Foundation and Jiangxi Publishing Group reformed and reorganized CPPH, which, since then, has been managed by China Soong Ling Foundation and operated by China Soong Ling Foundation and Jiangxi Publishing Group.
