A Story Inside Books was formed when Book Coach to Best Sellers® Kim O'Hara launched client Allen Maxwell's book to #3 on the Wall Street Journal Best Business books in July 2020. She saw that her clients who self-publish need an avenue to sell foreign rights. She also saw her clients who wanted traditional publishing needing an extra forum to present their content. As a book coach, she has worked individually with each client for over a year on navigating their books to best sellers. She is now proud to present each special and unique titile at this marketplace.

The Shoestring Publisher
The Shoestring Publisher is an independent publisher of illustrated books on India’s history and cultural heritage, with a particular focus on the visual arts including architecture, fine art, design, film, photography and textiles. Founded by Meera Ahuja in 2006, it has received the Indian Tourism Award for Excellence in Publishing for its panoramic limited editions The Monumental India Book (acclaimed as one of the world’s ten best coffee-table books of 2009) and The Sacred India Book. Its most recent publications are America: Films from Elsewhere (2019) and the monograph Mrinalini Mukherjee, published in conjunction with the exhibition “Phenomenal Nature: Mrinalini Mukherjee” at The Met Breuer, NY, in 2019. One of the major characteristic of our publication is our monthly picture books series which were launched back in 1956 starting with the “Kodomo no Tomo”. Many masterworks have been produced such as “Guri and Gura” and “Everyone Poops” through this series.Apart from the monthly picture books, we have introduced a lot of works which have been endeared by children all over the world for a long period of time such as the “Kiki’s Delivery Service” series by Eiko Kadono (2018 Hans Christian Andersen Award Winner for Writing). We have always hoped to publish picture books and story books that are unforgettable and stay in our readers’ hearts for many years to come which is an unchanged goal we aim for.

Founded in 1708, Stock is one of the oldest publishing houses in France and has been part of the Hachette Group since 1961. In the prestigious series LA BLEUE, Stock publishes the finest multi-award winning writers from Françoise Sagan to Philippe Claudel, and new voices such as Adrien Bosc. Recently, it has expanded to include high-end women’s literary fiction.
