The Cologne-based publishing house Emons was founded by Hermann-Josef Emons in 1984. We now have over 80 regional crime series, taking place in every part of Germany and since 2009 Emons crime novels also take place abroad (Austria, Switzerland, Spain, Italy etc.). Our books were published in over 13 countries, like Japan, Slowenia and Finland. Since 2009 we also publish our 111places (111 Orte) series. This illustrated guidebook series presents cities, regions and even whole countries from a wonderfully different and personal perspective.

Founded under lockdown in 2020, Sharp Rights publishing consultancy handles rights for independent publishers, agencies and authors, including The bks Agency, HopeRoad Publishing, Fledgling Press, FROM YOU TO ME, Little Island and Fine Feather Press. Founder Andrew Sharp is the former group rights director at Hachette Children's Group in London. He was The Bookseller Rights Professional of the Year in 2019. Our main focus is selling translation and English language rights for children's books. We also handle general trade titles. We are seeking publisher clients who require representation. We are interested to hear from publishers of adult fiction and non-fiction, children's non-fiction and picture books. Sharjah Documentation and Archives Authority, earlier Sharjah Centre for Documentation and Research, was established by resolution no. (4) of 2010, issued by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Muhammad AL Qassimi, member of the Supreme Council, the Ruler of Sharjah. In 2016, H.H. Ruler of Sharjah issued resolution no. (4) of 2016, on the establishment of Sharjah Documentation and Archives Authority. Furthermore, the Authority shall oversee the management of current documents and mediate documents with concerned parties. The Authority represents the local body concerned with all matters of documents and archiving and it abides by the best international standards for preserving and maintaining documents. The Authority works to strengthen cultural and historical awareness and encourage scientific researches and intellectual creativity.

Our picture book "You Are Not My Mother", about a young girl who had lost her mother and trying to adapt to the new lady in the family, was translated into Korean and sold in Korea. "How to be a Big Good Wolf" is our latest picture book based on a series of illustrations that had won the illustrator "The ASEAN Children's Book Illustrator Award of Excellence". Through one of our projects, Storymakers League, we have a talented group of young Asian authors ages 18 and below (from 9 countries) who have written stories for us to publish. The anthologies and novels written by them are perfect for school libraries around the world. We are constantly on the look out for more young authors around the globe, nurture them and have them write for their peers wherever they are. We are also looking for distributors worldwide to get these books into libraries at schools to inspire more kids to appreciate the written word and encourage them to start writing stories too.
