It began when I left Ghana to study in Marburg, Germany. I entered a classroom of children with developmental concerns and instantly fell in love with them–the passion continues. I’m an indie professional author-publisher of Christian, academic and children’s books. Founder of Families International, Ottawa, Canada. An organization for all families, especially those who have children with developmental concerns. Our vision is to empower these families to believe in and help themselves, and their children. Be passionate partners of their children’s educational systems and working resiliently with special pedagogic and medical teams to support their children to achieve their full potential. We value every child and believe disabilities don’t mean inabilities. These children have educational assets exemplified by my newly released children’s books–Mommie, Snoopy Mr. Crab and Jumbolino The Dancing Clown. Inspired and created from my international work with these children and their families.

Gilam Agency - Giovanni Lamanna Agenzia Letteraria
The Gilam Agency – founded by Giovanni Lamanna – is based in Italy and is specialized in Italian Fiction and Non-Fiction, and Children's Books. We represent about 25 authors, some already established (such as Attilio Del Giudice, Francesco Forlani, Peppe Lanzetta, Gianfranco Pecchinenda, Felice Piemontese, Elena Starace, Giulia Bracco, Roger Salloch), some beginners. We also hold the rights to Non-Fiction books (books about Maria Montessori, pedagogy, sport, social science, philosophy...) The Gilam Agency is partner of some Italian publishers (Neo Edizioni, Lavieri, Funambolo, Dalia, Fefé) in selling translation rights on foreign market. We are also going to represent foreign publishers for selling translation rights in Italy. The Gilam Agency takes part in the most important book fairs and exhibitions in Italy and in Europe. In 2020 the Agency has created a new brand (with its own dedicated staff) for Children's and Illustrated Book Rights (the Wrong Cat Rights Agency).

En toutes lettres est une maison d’édition spécialisée dans la publication d’essais d’écrivains, de chercheurs et de journalistes. Nos livres abordent en profondeur des questions de société liées au Maroc. Notre objectif est d’apporter un nouvel éclairage sur le Maroc d’aujourd’hui à travers des récits documentés et loin de tout sensationnalisme, en nous appuyant essentiellement sur l’enquête et le vécu des gens. Nous considérons comme un enjeu essentiel de démocratie de rendre accessible à un public de non spécialistes les travaux produits par les chercheurs et universitaires en sciences sociales et économiques.Nos livres contribuent à la dissémination de la culture du débat et de l’esprit critique.
