      • Gilam Agency - Giovanni Lamanna Agenzia Letteraria

        The Gilam Agency – founded by Giovanni Lamanna – is based in Italy and is specialized in Italian Fiction and Non-Fiction, and Children's Books. We represent about 25 authors, some already established (such as Attilio Del Giudice, Francesco Forlani, Peppe Lanzetta, Gianfranco Pecchinenda, Felice Piemontese, Elena Starace, Giulia Bracco, Roger Salloch), some beginners. We also hold the rights to Non-Fiction books (books about Maria Montessori, pedagogy, sport, social science, philosophy...) The Gilam Agency is partner of some Italian publishers (Neo Edizioni, Lavieri, Funambolo, Dalia, Fefé) in selling translation rights on foreign market. We are also going to represent foreign publishers for selling translation rights in Italy. The Gilam Agency takes part in the most important book fairs and exhibitions in Italy and in Europe. In 2020 the Agency has created a new brand (with its own dedicated staff) for Children's and Illustrated Book Rights (the Wrong Cat Rights Agency).

        The Lennon-Ritchie agency is a literary agency based in Cape Town. We represent a select group of international writers of literary and commercial fiction and non-fiction, and of television and film scripts. Our award-winning books include 2019 Sunday Times Fiction Prize winning THE THEORY OF FLIGHT by Gloria Siphiwe Ndlovu (Penguin Random House SA; Catalyst Press US), winner of the 2019 Sharjah best international book award THE SON OF THE HOUSE by Cheluchi Onuobia (Penguin Random House SA; Dundurn House Press US; E/O Italy; Europa Editions UK), and winner of the 2020 Humanities and Social Sciences best novel award, LACUNA by Fiona Snyckers (Picador Africa; Europa Editions US, UK).         The NUS Press Story NUS Press publishes academic books and journals, as well as general non-fiction. Our home market is Singapore and Southeast Asia, but our books are distributed internationally. We publish books of special relevance to Southeast Asia and we maintain a disciplinary focus on the humanities and social sciences. Books and memoirs meant mostly for a general audience and to be sold in bookshops are published under our Ridge Books imprint. We publish some 30 books a year. NUS Press currently publishes two academic journals: China: An International Journal (for the East Asian Institute at NUS) and Southeast of Now: Directions in Contemporary and Modern Art in Asia. The National University of Singapore Press is heir to a tradition of academic publishing in Singapore that dates back some 60 years, starting with the work of the Publishing Committee of the University of Malaya, beginning in 1954. Singapore University Press was created in 1971 as the publishing division of the University of Singapore. The University of Singapore merged with Nanyang University in 1980 to become the National University of Singapore, and in 2006 Singapore University Press was succeeded by NUS Press, bringing the name of the press in line with the name of the university. Our publishing mission is to enable the dissemination and creation of knowledge through the publishing of scholarly and academic books; and to empower learning, innovation and enterprise for the Singapore- and Asia-focused global community. All NUS Press books must be approved by a Publishing Committee, drawn from the ranks of the academic staff at the National University of Singapore. NUS Press is currently managed by Peter Schoppert.       • Singapore Book Publishers Association (SBPA)

        The Association represents the interests of Singapore publishers who are engaged in a wide range of publishing, marketing and distribution activities in both print and digital formats. From 22 member companies at its inception, the Association has grown to accommodate more than 70 members who publish in all four official languages of Singapore. Since its inception, the SBPA's objective has been to develop and strengthen the book ecosystem of Singapore in partnership with other like-minded organisations.

      • Nashre-Cheshmeh Publishing House

        Nashre-Cheshmeh is a family business with more than 100 employees. It is one of the most active private publishing houses of the country with more than 1500 books, an annual number of 130 new ones, and six bookstores. The house has been working for more than 35 years, publishing the works of the most significant Iranian writers, poets, and translators, and the young generation of the best Iranian literary figures of the country. Many of these writers have novels, short stories, or poems published, or going to be published, in the European countries, the US, and Asia. We have always supported Iran’s joining the Berne Convention, thus tried to acquire the Persian translation rights for the titles we publish, such as the books by Orhan Pamuk, Steve Toltz, Patrick Modiano, Javier Marias, Rolf Dobelli, Alain Badiou, Klaus Modick, Ben Clanton, Siri Kolu.

      • Tango Sin Fin

        “Método de Tango” is the first fundamental book series that teaches how to play tango music, published in English and Spanish since 2014 by Tango Sin Fin in Buenos Aires. This book series is the only collection which provides any musician, arranger, composer or ethnomusicologist from around the world a methodological and pedagogical approach to tango language, using academic terms, exercises and musical studies. Each volume is focused on one instrument: violin, bass, bandoneon, piano, flute and guitar. So far, the collection has only been published in Argentina and worldwide rights belong to Tango Sin Fin.
