Sharjah Documentation and Archives Authority
Sharjah Documentation and Archives Authority, earlier Sharjah Centre for Documentation and Research, was established by resolution no. (4) of 2010, issued by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Muhammad AL Qassimi, member of the Supreme Council, the Ruler of Sharjah. In 2016, H.H. Ruler of Sharjah issued resolution no. (4) of 2016, on the establishment of Sharjah Documentation and Archives Authority. The objectives were set to collecting and preserving documents related to the emirate, as well as the development of the documentation and archive system. Furthermore, the Authority shall oversee the management of current documents and mediate documents with concerned parties. The Authority represents the local body concerned with all matters of documents and archiving and it abides by the best international standards for preserving and maintaining documents. The Authority works to strengthen cultural and historical awareness and encourage scientific researches and intellectual creativity.

Founded in 2005, POL is a full-service agent that translates Iranian books and represents Persian language publishers, authors, and illustrators across the world. POL Try to make publicity of Iranian books through the introduction and presentation in major international cultural events such as book fairs to sell their rights as well as identifying and introducing useful books from other countries to translate and publish in Iran. At present POL handles the rights of more than 60 Iranian authors and publishers' titles to sell their rights. As for buying right, we present the rights of many publishers from the different countries to buy their Persian Language right to Iranian publishers.

The Gilam Agency – founded by Giovanni Lamanna – is based in Italy and is specialized in Italian Fiction and Non-Fiction, and Children's Books. We represent about 25 authors, some already established (such as Attilio Del Giudice, Francesco Forlani, Peppe Lanzetta, Gianfranco Pecchinenda, Felice Piemontese, Elena Starace, Giulia Bracco, Roger Salloch), some beginners. We also hold the rights to Non-Fiction books (books about Maria Montessori, pedagogy, sport, social science, philosophy...) The Gilam Agency is partner of some Italian publishers (Neo Edizioni, Lavieri, Funambolo, Dalia, Fefé) in selling translation rights on foreign market.
