(CTPH) is the publishing sector of the former China Translation & Publishing Corporation (CTPC), which was established as a state-level translation and publishing institution in 1973. CTPH has gradually matured from a small unit publishing UN materials to a publishing house translating and publishing famous works from all over the world, and evolved from linguistic and translated works to a comprehensive catalogue of titles, including audiovisual, digital and multimedia publications. Established in June, 1978, China Social Sciences Press is sponsored by Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. CSSP is a national level publishing house focusing on academic publications mainly in the field of humanities and social sciences. In 1993, CSSP won the honorary title of “national outstanding press” granted by Propaganda Department of CPC and General Administration of Press and Publication.The missions and the publication targets of CSSP are: first, editing and publishing the most outstanding academic results of CASS and great achievements from the fields of social sciences and culture circle in China, including academic works, text books, reference books and popular books; second, translating Chinese versions of significant humanities and social sciences books written by western authors.

Holland Park Press is a privately-owned independent company publishing and selling literary fiction: novels, novellas, short stories; and poetry. It was founded in 2009. It is run by brother and sister, Arnold and Bernadette Jansen op de Haar, who publish an author not just a book. Holland Park Press specialises in finding new literary talent by accepting unsolicited manuscripts from authors all year round and by running competitions. The publishing company from Lagos, Nigeria, was founded in 2012 by Azafi Omoluabi and Richard Ali. Founded in 1985, China Peace Publishing House is a state-owned publishing house belonging to China Soong Ching Ling Foundation, publishing books about Soong Ching Ling, and various of children’s books, mainly for small children. In 2008, with the formal approval of the General Press & Publication Administration, China Soong Ching Ling Foundation and Jiangxi Publishing Group reformed and reorganized CPPH, which, since then, has been managed by China Soong Ling Foundation and operated by China Soong Ling Foundation and Jiangxi Publishing Group.
