      The collection demonstrates the development of Chinese piano music composition in the last century according to chronological form for the first time,including 104 original piano works composed by 47 Chinese composers. The series comprehensively display the history and development of Chinese piano music style in the last century according to the outline of historical period, the detail of composer and composition style, combing the score,the musician, the story and the tone as a whole. Another major feature of the series is, in addition to ensuring the authority of the edition, attaching importance to the authority of interpretation by gathering 56 world-renowned Chinese performers to record the supporting audio.Many of the works were specially recorded by composer’s designated performers, and even historical recordings were repeatedly selected for the best versions. Including 14 CDs, the series is divided into 7 volumes about 2.4 million words, and is published under the auspices of The National Publishing Fund.
