On June 24th, 1985, with the approval of the Publishing Administration Bureau of the Ministry of Culture, Gansu Education Publishing House was founded on the basis of the Cultural and Educational Editorial Office of Gansu People's Publishing House. In October 2013, Gansu Education Publishing House was registered as Gansu Education Publishing House Limited Liability Company and became a wholly-owned independent legal subsidiary of Readers Publishing & Media Co., Ltd.
