Entsprechend muß man die Historie der Arbeit insgesamt als große ABM-Initiative sehen, der irgendwann die Evaluation ins Haus steht. Und wirklich treffen aus der ferneren Zukunft Botschaften ein, in denen eine Kommission behauptet, von höchster Warte mit einer finalen, alle Erdteile und Phasen einschließenden Begutachtung der Arbeitswelt betraut worden zu sein – als Grundlage für die Entscheidung, ob und wie es damit weitergehen soll. Sie bittet Schriftsteller, Expeditionen in die Arbeitswelt der Gegenwart zu unternehmen. Und diese geben Antwort: von Großkonzernen, Online-Sexportalen und Bestattungsinstituten, von Ziegenhirten, Superköchen und moderner Bettelei. Neriman is the daughter of the wealthy factory owner Hikmet. Her mother dies when she is very young and her father marries Fehime. Soon, her father dies as well, and she is left alone with her step-mother. Fehime tries so hard to isolate Neriman from her father’s circle of friends. She treats the young woman as if she is mentally ill. Fehime informs a friend of her late husband, that the young girl needs to be treated in a hospital. This friend, Feridun comes to visit Neriman. When he meets the young woman, he sees that she is in perfect mental condition. He comes up with a secret plan. He arranges an ambulance which brings the young woman to a friend. This friend is Ş aziye, a middle aged woman. Her son Ömer, is a charming young man, and Feridun offers him a big fortune on the condition of marrying Neriman. However, the marriage will be a fake one, happening only to prevent the step-mother taking over all the properties. The young man accepts the offer. They meet a few minutes prior to the wedding, and it turns out to be a total disappointment for Ömer. Neriman, in her torn clothes, unmade hair and very exhausted looks, is in no way attractive for him. They sign the forms, and he immediately leaves the wedding hall. Neriman goes on a long vacation to rest a bit and comes back to Istanbul as a rejuvenated charming woman. Neriman and Ömer meet again, and this time he feels attracted to her. The young married couple starts everything over.
