Zwischen November 1938 und Februar 1939 sammelte das von Alfred Wiener gegründete Jewish Central Information Office (heute Wiener Library, London) insgesamt 355 Augenzeugenberichte zum Novemberpogrom. Die Berichte stammen aus dem ganzen Deutschen Reich, aus kleinen Ortschaften, aus größeren Städten wie Frankfurt am Main, Berlin und Wien, sogar aus Konzentrationslagern. Verfaßt wurden sie von Zeitzeugen unterschiedlichster Herkunft unmittelbar nach und teils noch während der vom Naziregime organisierten Ausschreitungen. Keine andere Quellensammlung dokumentiert so zeitnah die Eskalation der antijüdischen Gewalt im November 1938, die Ereignisse am 9. und 10. November selbst sowie die Folgen des Pogroms für die jüdische Bevölkerung des Deutschen Reiches. Die erste vollständige Edition dieser einzigartigen Sammlung von Augenzeugenberichten eröffnet einen unmittelbaren Einblick in die Situation der deutschen Juden im Jahr 1938, in dem die Verfolgung, der sie ausgesetzt waren, sich radikal verschärfte.

Der Fassbinder-Skandal Mitte der achtziger Jahre und die Walser-Debatte Ende der neunziger Jahre waren Zäsuren in der deutsch-jüdischen Nachkriegsgeschichte. Beide Auseinandersetzungen sind aufs engste mit Ignatz Bubis verbunden – er steht darin auch für das Sichtbarwerden der deutschen Juden in der bundesrepublikanischen Gesellschaft. Als Vorsitzender des Zentralrats der Juden in Deutschland setzte Ignatz Bubis sich dafür ein, daß sich die jüdische Gemeinschaft auch nach der Shoah dauerhaft auf ein Leben in Deutschland einlassen sollte. Zugleich trat er allen Tendenzen, einen Schlußstrich unter die NS-Vergangenheit zu ziehen, entschieden entgegen, zuletzt in der Kontroverse um die Rede von Martin Walser anläßlich der Verleihung des Friedenspreises des Deutschen Buchhandels 1998. Ignatz Bubis hat wie keine andere jüdische Persönlichkeit das öffentliche Leben in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland mitgeprägt. Der Band Ignatz Bubis. Ein jüdisches Leben in Deutschland führt die entscheidenden Stationen seines Wirkens vor Augen – eine politische Biographie, in der das fragile Verhältnis von Juden und Nichtjuden nach 1945 in seinen Möglichkeiten und Aporien exemplarisch Gestalt annahm. Ignatz Bubis, 1927 in Breslau geboren, überlebte die Shoah, seine Familie wurde ermordet. Von 1956 bis 1999 lebte er in Frankfurt am Main, von 1992 bis 1999 war er Präsident des Zentralrats der Juden in Deutschland. Er starb am 13. August 1999 und wurde, wie er es zuletzt verfügt hatte, in Israel beerdigt. Die Ausstellung im Jüdischen Museum Frankfurt am Main ist vom 16. Mai bis zum 11. November 2007 zu sehen.

It contains 20 volumes, each presenting a single Yungang cave with more than 400 pictures and several professional academic papers on the cultural and artistic characteristics of caves. As a royal art project symbolizing the imperial power of Tuoba in the Northern Wei Dynasty, the Yungang Grottoes are large in scale, rich in content, exquisite in carving, and vivid in appearance. They absorb and integrate the diverse cultures of ancient nationalities, and represent the highest level of carving in the world in the 5th century. In 2001, the Yungang Grottoes were listed on the World Heritage List. The Complete Works of Yungang Grottoes displays the treasures of the Yungang Grottoes in an unprecedented scale, high-definition, and panoramic view, which is regarded as a recording and preserving archive of great values. For more than 1500 years, the statues of the Yungang Grottoes have been weathered and ruined by wind and rain. In the past, most of the photography focused on the contemporarily perfect Buddha statues, but the remaining statues, even the best-preserved ones, are disappearing year by year from people's sight. The Complete Works of Yungang Grottoes collects image data of them, makes the documentary files, and has them published to the public, in this way retaining the perfect art in changes.

This series contains about 1,800 modern prints collected by Lu Xun at that time, which authored by nearly 200 domestic printmakers and currently in the Lu Xun Memorial Hall in Shanghai and the Lu Xun Museum in Beijing. It is showcasing the glorious history of modern Chinese woodcut art: In the 1920s and 1930s, in order to guide the artistic direction of Chinese literary youth, smashed the KMT’s counter-revolutionary cultural " encirclement and suppression", Mr. Lu Xun held a "woodcut workshop" in Shanghai, and cultivated a group of emerging woodcut backbone. These backbones led young artists in various regions of the country to create a large number of realistic works reflecting the suffering and tragic fate of the people at the bottom of the society at that time. They cruelly lashed the dark reality of society and called for national salvation and survival. These young woodcutters sent their woodcut works to Lu Xun, who not only guided their creation personally, but also spared no effort to collect, publicize and promote them to the public. With the active advocacy and support of Mr. Lu Xun, the emerging woodcut movement in China has developed vigorously, driving the modernization of Chinese art and leaving an indelible glorious footprint in the history of Chinese modern culture and art. This complete collection is a companion to the The Complete Collection of Foreign Prints by Lu Xun published in 2014.
