Gilles Deleuze wurde am 18. Januar 1925 in Paris geboren und starb am 4. November 1995 ebenda. Er verbrachte fast die gesamte Zeit seines Lebens in Paris. Während des Zweiten Weltkriegs besuchte er das Lycée Carnot sowie für ein Jahr die Eliteschule Henri IV. Deleuze studierte von 1944 bis 1948 Philosophie an der Sorbonne. Während der 1950er Jahre lehrte Deleuze an verschiedenen Gymnasien. 1957 trat er eine Stelle an der Sorbonne an. Er hatte bereits sein erstes Buch über David Hume veröffentlicht. Deleuze beschäftigte sich insbesondere mit der Kritik am Rationalismus und der Wesenslehre. Von 1960 bis 1964 hatte Deleuze eine Anstellung am Centre national de la recherche scientifique. Während dieser Zeit beschäftigte er sich mit Nietzsche und Henri Bergson und veröffentlichte Nietzsche und die Philosophie. Er schloss eine enge Freundschaft mit Michel Foucault und gab mit ihm zusammen die kritische Gesamtausgabe von Friedrich Nietzsche heraus. Von 1964 bis 1969 war er Professor an der Universität von Lyon. Im Jahr des Pariser Mai 1968 reichte er seine Dissertation Differenz und Wiederholung und seine Zweitthese Spinoza und das Problem des Ausdrucks in der Philosophie ein. Nachträglich wurden diese Arbeiten als erste und fruchtbarste Versuche erkannt, die Studentenrevolte philosophisch zu begreifen. Von 1969 bis 1987 war er Dozent an der Reformuniversität Paris VIII. Wegen einer schweren Atemwegserkrankung, an der Deleuze seit Jahrzehnten gelitten hatte, beging er am 4. November 1995 Selbstmord. Bernd Schwibs, geboren 1945, ist nach Stationen an der Fondation Maison des Sciences de l’Homme, beim Suhrkamp Verlag, bei den Zeitschriften Psyche und Westend jetzt freier Übersetzer.

This volume proposes new insights into the uses of classical mythology by Shakespeare and his contemporaries, focusing on interweaving processes in early modern appropriations of myth. Its 11 essays show how early modern writing intertwines diverse myths and plays with variant versions of individual myths that derive from multiple classical sources, as well as medieval, Tudor and early modern retellings and translations. Works discussed include poems and plays by William Shakespeare, Christopher Marlowe and others. Essays concentrate on specific plays including The Merchant of Venice and Dido Queen of Carthage, tracing interactions between myths, chronicles, the Bible and contemporary genres. Mythological figures are considered to demonstrate how the weaving together of sources deconstructs gendered representations. New meanings emerge from these readings, which open up methodological perspectives on multi-textuality, artistic appropriation and cultural hybridity.

And she shares her feelings with Ali about this problem. Ali has had a great idea. They want to create a brochure about the hunger in the world and they will distribute them at school. Two friends get started working on it quickly. Meanwhile something unexpected happens. The food exhibition which is prepared for the domestic goods week was messed up by some people. The principal summons Ali and Fatma about this and he thinks they did this. Ali wants permission to prove that they did not do this. Fatma and Ali inspect the spoiling incident that happened in the exhibition. And they find who is guilty and tell the manager with details

She decided to find the real criminal and to do this, she needed the help of the smartest guy in the school, Ali Greywolf.It took a little bit long for her to find Ali but when she did, she explained him the entire story (threatened him nicely, too) to help her out to solve the mystery behind the story. Jane and Ali were dedective partners in this case.

Fatma was thinking that she had a fun weekend. Firstly she finished her homework. She needed a calculator to check her math homework. She asked permission from her mother to take her brother’s calculator. Her mother permitted but although she rummaged the room, she couldn’t find it. A genius idea popped into her head. She was going to take her brother’s tablet and use its calculator, read a book, watch a video. Then she was going to sleep. She went to school after waking up with a tablet in her hand, dizzy. Of course, she didn’t forget to put the tablet into her bag. After a boring class of the new Turkish teacher, she ran out to the garden as soon as she heard the break bell. But when she came back, she found her bag open and saw it was empty. The tablet was gone. This was such an awful situation. How was it stolen when no one saw the tablet? Her best friend, Ali was, immediately came to help. They’ve got two clues; the thief was left-handed and a short yarn part. They checked everyone in the school canteen to find out whom the yarn part belongs to. And of course, they found out the thief shortly after. Fatma got off cheap this time.
