The book, snakes of Iran, provides updated data about the biodiversity of snakes in Iran, consisting of 81 species, belonging to 34 genera and 7 families. Also, an identification key for the species and genera of snakes of Iran is presented in the book. As well, the habitat of snakes in Iran is explained and global and national distribution maps of the snakes are presented.
