        Un secolo Disney: gender, femminismo ed etnia tra cinema e animazione

        Questa monografia si pone l'obiettivo di esaminare i comportamenti mediatici del pubblico nei confronti del più grande impero dell'intrattenimento cinematografico (e ad oggi dire anche televisivo e digitale), The Walt Disney Company, e al tempo stesso di analizzare come il colosso mediatico (che, a partire dagli anni Duemila, ha acquisito le case di produzione Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm e il conglomerato mediatico 21st Century Fox) risponda alle esigenze sollecitate dalla massa. Il volume mira, inoltre, a comprendere e approfondire come fenomeni sociologici quali il  gender , il femminismo e l'etnia siano stati introdotti e si siano ampliati nelle vastissime produzioni dello Studio.

        I mondi eterogenei di «Nightmare Before Christmas» e «La sposa cadavere» di Tim Burton

        L'Autrice prende in esame due film particolarmente emblematici della poetica burtoniana, “Nightmare Before Christmas” e “La sposa cadavere”, realizzati entrambi con una tecnica di animazione tanto cara al regista, la “stop-motion”. Burton, nato come illustratore, si rifà un concetto di “cinema artigianale”, da “bottega delle meraviglie” che ci regala ogni volta uno sguardo nuovo sul mondo o sui molteplici mondi possibili. Un cinema primitivo e magico. Questa monografia si configura come un viaggio attraverso i mondi burtoniani, mettendoli a confronto e analizzando la dimensione misteriosa, inesplorata e incontaminata in cui si fondono, oltre lo spazio della proiezione cinematografica.
