Set in Geneva, Switzerland in 2020, Jon Smyth, a high-ranking diplomat involved in profiting from human trafficking, loves power and status. Publicly he portrays himself as a humanitarian and he’s nominated for a humanitarian award, but when Aurelia, a private language tutor, discovers the secrets he’s hiding in his personal life, she threatens to reveal them to the public and the police.
