Each session is described in great detail and provides examples and exercises. The goal is to enable the patients to stop wrestling with their anxiety and to concentrate on what enables them to live a fulfilling life. The principles that the patient is introduced to throughout the 8 sessions can also help them to deal more flexibly with other difficult emotions such as loneliness, sadness, or anger.
