Zal falls in love with the daughter of the king of Kabol. To prevent this marriage, King Manoochehr summons Sam and orders him to fight King Mehrab. But Sam cannot do that due to his love to his son. Sam writes a letter to the king begs him not to let him sacrifice his son again. When the king feels his insistence and love for his son, he agrees and permits them to get married.
