Author Biography
Director of NGO “Istorychna Pravda” (“Historial Truth”), lecturer in the Ukrainian Catholic University, print media and book collector, the founder of “Press Museum Archive” in Kyiv. Won Olexandr Kryvenko Award For Progress in Journalism (2007) and nominated for Taras Shevchenko National Prize (2020). First published in the uncensored self-published newspaper Chornomoria. In 1997-2010 worked for newspapers Ukraina Moloda and Kyivskie Vedomosti, magazine Focus and a number of TV channels, including 1 + 1, K1, Inter, TVi, First National, ZIK, Espresso. Author and compiler of the following books: We Were Born in the Greatest Hour. OUN and UPA (2016), The War of Two Truth: Ukrainians and Poles in the 20th century (2017), World War II, Uncontrived and Unredacted. Testimonies from Ukraine (2018), The Case of Vasyl Stus (2019).
