In a Tibetan village among the Qilian Mountains, the only child of the old herdsman Khadro—Tsering, who was back from his university to the forest zones, was shot when he was trying to stop an illegal hunting. And the illegal hunter turned out to be Tsering’s friend, Dorje. Dorje’s parents died when he was a little boy. Khadro and his wife raised Dorje as their son. And he treated the couple as his parents. But that night, he made a huge mistake out of drunkenness and greed. Now, he had to leave his son, Gonpo Norbu. Khadro had intended to ignore the son of his enemy. But seeing this lonely little boy, the kind old man finally decided to take care of him. Meanwhile, a snow leopard found her kid killed by a she-wolf. The snow leopard was so angry and swore to take her revenge on the she-wolf, only to find that the wolf was killed by a hyena. The wolf cubs in the den aroused her mothering instinct and she decided to raise the wolf cubs. What happened after that?
