Reviews

Miao Wei, with his strong imagination, experience and knowledge, and most importantly the mind of a “foodie”, wrote the stories about foodies. It vividly demonstrate the state of “I am hungry” and “I am full”. But this is not only writings about food. Master Miao actually presented a piece of bread with sociology connotations.

—— New Beijing Book Review

Food is only an obvious topic. Master Miao discussed the issue of “food and morality” through every detail in the stories. It is like a harsh stab in the foodies who are too obsessed with fine cuisine.
