Author Biography
Min Lu was born in the 70’s in Dongtai, Jiangsu Province. He grew up in the countryside. When he was eleven years old, he left home to live in a boarding school. At fourteen he went to study at the Provincial capital, Nanjing. His father died when he was 16, and he began working at 18. He has worked as a shop employee, a small administrator, a business promoter, an author, and a secretary, among other professions. At 25, he set his sights on becoming a writer, with the hope of fighting the fabrications in his life through the fabrications of novels. Among his published works, there are Life of Luxury《纸醉》, Viewfinder《取景器》, and This Love could not be Delivered《此情无法投递》. He has won the Lu Xun Prize, the Qingchong Wen Literature Prize, the Literature Prize of the People, the Chinese Author Award, and the Readers’ Award for a Literature Periodical. His works have been translated into German, French, Russian, and Japanese.
