Mai Jia is a writer as well as a playwright. As the president of Zhejiang Writers Association, he is referred to as the creator of new intellectual novels. Mai Jia was the first contemporary writers in China whose works were collected by Penguin Modern Classics. Mai Jia’s works have been translated into more than 30 languages including English, French, Spanish, Italian, German etc.
