Chege takes up the burden of freeing his brother from jail and getting back the family’s land. He, however, gets a government scholarship to study abroad and appears to have abandoned his family and his girlfriend. Problems arise when funding dries up, and he finds himself framed in a financial scandal back home. Forced to return and face his fears, Chege discovers that he too must become a ‘warrior’, in keeping with the family tradition.
