In this book the artist makes an essay about the different shapes of the turtles by going around space and folding the paper. Eight turtle sculptures made of paper and created by Manuel Marín shows us by constructing step by space each piece the basics of concave or convex since they can be assembled either from outside or inside.

Author Biography
Manuel Marín is a painter, sculptor, draftsman, teacher, and art theoretician. He was selected by the Deutsche Welle de Bonn as the representative artist of Latin America for his 2004 sculpture Crossed Communication. His book Animales en el agua de papel was chosen for the exhibition Ten Best Art Books for Children 1995-2000 at the exhibition Ten Best Art Booksfor Children 1995-2000. His book Primavera was included in the IBBY Honour List. In 2016, Tortugas en el espacio de papel was included in White Ravens International.
