Before becoming a children's illustrator, Irena Panarina drew mainly graphiсs and paintings, worked in a popular science magazine, and drew the historical characters for the videogame Cossacks-3 from GSC Game World. Perhaps it was such a diverse experience that inspired her to experiment with different media in her illustrations.
