I can definitely, very warmly, recommend this series of the Helper Agency to all intermediate and advanced new readers that like imaginative adventures. Or for the less advanced beginner readers, if an adult is there to read aloud, of course.

Daniel is a forty-something father of three, who lives with his wife and children in Östersund, a quaint town in the centre of Sweden.
