Author Biography
Galyna Maniv (born 13 March, 1965) is a Ukrainian writer, translator and editor. She completed her Master’s degree in Ukrainian philology and folklore studies at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in 2008. Her books are written in a variety of genres. She currently lives and works in Kyiv.
Dmytro Pechenkin (born 1982) is an award winning children’s book illustrator who prefers ink and watercolor when creating vivid characters. He grew up with books of Gerald Durrell and documentaries of Jacques Cousteau and calls nature his greatest inspiration. After completing his degree in Graphic Design, he pursued a career in illustration.
