Won the 5th ( 2017 ) Feng Zikai Chinese Children's Picture Book Award
The book applies the unique method of embroidery patch and cloth cutting
embroidery. The fabric used is cotton and linen, both machine-woven and
hand-woven. The dyeing methods are Scrape pulp dyeing, batik and tie-dyeing,
as well as dyeing with tool holders by the author. Collage techniques and multi-
layered cloth dyeing effect add dimension to the illustrations, making them
unique and artistic.
