Author Biography
Jiang Xiaoyuan is a Distinguished Visiting Professor and PHD Candidate Supervisor at Shanghai Jiaotong University. He currently serves as the head of the History of Science and Scientific Culture Research Institute, and he was the Deputy Director of Chinese Society for the History of Science and Technology History. Jiang is an Astrophysics graduate of Nanjing University, and was the first PHD on the History of Astrophysics when he graduated from the Natural Science Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Science in 1988. Jiang worked at Shanghai Observatory at Chinese Academy of Science for 15 years before he was promoted as a researcher.
