The Sun and the Shade

by Zhang Zhilu, Wu Mao

Description

This book tells the story of the naughty little sun and the cute shade playing hide and seek. It describes our familiar world in an allegorical way: dynamic and static, visible and invisible, large and small, able and unable. The integration of these words and their meanings constitutes a sufficiently vast, well-rounded, integrated, and stretched world in which we live. There is both sun and shade on this planet. The story contains a philosophy of life in a relaxed and pleasant style of writing. Besides, the magnificent and majestic paintings have the characteristics of traditional Chinese painting.
