Author Biography
Gui Wenya, born in Taiwan in 1949, was successively a reporter, a editor and a teacher. He has worked on the publication and edition of the children’s literature since 1981 and now he is a visiting professor of culture research institute of the children’s literature in Zhejiang Normal University, honorary director of children’s literature data center in Taiwan. He has published more than 50 works, such as The Thinking Cat, The Withdrawal of the Monitor, The beautiful Eyes Watch the World, Many of which have been selected into the textbook. He won “The Yearly Good Book Award ”, “Xinyi Special Award for Children’s Literature”, Song Qingling Children’s Literature Award“”, “The Distinguished Alumni Award of Shixin University”
