Description
Boredom drives a young woman to work in the archives department in the Eritrean capital, Asmara. But satisfaction eludes her in the regular historical documents section. She tries to move to the important historical documents section, but her request is rejected. Finally, she decides to convert the ordinary documents into a task with amendment, deletion and addition. She likes the game until she discovers that the president of the country is playing the same game as her. The novel discusses the idea of tampering with history by governments.
