Description
A former top rugby player and elite mountain soldier with the French Army, Ferdinand Richter offers a rethinking of men’s place and masculinity in a changing world through concrete actions, changing one’s intellectual perspective, reconnecting with one’s sensitive side, and accessing the spiritual.
Ferdinand Richter is a former top rugby player and elite mountain soldier with the French Army, and has also worked as a work psychologist and professional coach for large corporate groups. For a long time, the world around him praised “warrior man” values, such as performance, domination, competition, and exploiting resources. His search for different values led him toward more introspection and caused him to question mainstream ideas about masculinity. He offers men a chance to be reborn into a new world and create a new model of the sensitive man, one who recognizes the feminine part of his identity. What are the tools for this journey? Welcoming emotions, experiencing parenthood, initiatory shamanic rites, exploring the conscience through holotropic breathing, dance, reconnecting with nature, and the ethics of permaculture (which is not limited to plants, but also offers new, sustainable models for human interaction such as proper use of resources).
