This book was in the long list of the BBC Ukraine Book of the Year 2013 Award.

Author Biography
Ukrainian novelist, essayist and journalist. Together with Yuri Andrukhovych, he is a major representative of the Stanislav phenomenon. He became popular thanks to his intimate style, observing and depicting different sides of life.
Shevchenko Prize Laureate 2020 for his book of essays Yes, but...
His first book, Other Days of Anna published in 1998 and received an award by Smoloskyp Publishing House.
2011: His book The way it is was named Book of the year in Ukraine.
2013: His children's book Who Will Make the Snow, co-written with Marianna Prokhasko, was awarded BBC Ukraine Book of the Year.
2013: Yuri Shevelyov Prize for his book Same Thing Ever.
2019: His book Yes, but... was awarded BBC Ukraine Book of the Year (Nomination: Essays).
His works are translated into Polish, German, English, and Russian.
