Author Biography
Adebayo Williams is a globally acclaimed African intellectual, award-winning journalist, writer, critic, translator, anthropological consultant and political theorist. Williams is the author of two previous critically acclaimed novels, The Year of the Locusts (Longman, 1989) and Bulletin from the Land of Living Ghosts (Exlibrix, 2002). Described as Nigeria’s five-star essayist and the best practitioner of the genre currently writing in Africa, Williams has written several scholarly articles in top academic journals and over a thousand newspaper articles. Williams has also co-authored several books on topics ranging from Democratisation, Governance and Intellectual Biography. Adebayo Williams has taught in universities in Africa, Europe and America and currently divides his time as a habitué of three continents.
