The Question of Belonging From the Perspective of the Tunisian Historical Investigations
by adel naffeti-lamia abidi-lotfi aissa-houda bair-bassem din chacheya-lotfi aissa
Description
The questioning of belonging from the perspective of Tunisian historical knowledge necessitated its response to a number of cognitive dimensions, among which we preserved five intertwined stations that fought in the stakes of belonging in the colonial historical investigations, and in the discourse of belonging in the historical literature of Tunisian patriots. It also questioned belonging from the perspective of Moorish historical studies, and was exposed to identity anxiety in the writings of Tunisian travelers, open to the forms of making histories in light of the antagonism between the cognitive and political readings.
