Imprisoned in her house due to a false robbery accusation, she writes a notebook to her first love that is at the same time an intimate and deep reflection about her situation and her identity as a woman.

Author Biography
Luisa Josefina Hernández (Mexico City, 1928) studied English Literature and Drama at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), and is better known for her work as a playwright. Her book Apocalipsis Cum Figuris was awarded the Xavier Villaurrutia Prize in 1982. In 2002 she was awarded the National Science and Arts Award in the area of Linguistics and Literature.
